I decided to spray the inside black until I ran out of paint.
As you can see, I need to touch it up a bit more

Here's how the radio came to me

I cut the Mopar logo out

And added a coat of flat black to it. I will be riveting it to the drive cage later

I mixed up some Loctite and smeared it on the Mopar logo

Then pressed it on the back panel

The bezel is next. I want to mount the radio in the dual 3.5 inch bay

Looking like this

But first I have to trim it to fit the bay

And that's where I got my first Cuda related injury

And it fits!

And then with the face plate. I still have to touch up the sides

I painted the bottom

And I painted under the hood scoop

So on to the hood pins

After protecting the surface I decided on a good place to mount the hood pins

30mm seems like a good spot

The pins had to be cut way down because they had to go into the case without interferring with the
DVD drives

Once I drilled out the holes, I added a single screw to each. These screws were once part of the
radio and now are another touch of the real thing

And filled it with Loctite

And I added the pin. I'll let it dry overnight

I ran the cable through

And that's that

I received my 130mm fan

I decided to not use the temp gauge and mount a small photo frame that will scroll through 200 or
so Mopar images

It'll go here

So after a few days of thinking I decide to merge my media reader/display with the photo frame

The LCD display is garbage. When I turned on the computer it blinked and beeped again and again.
Even the numbers were rubbish. So, I decided to merge 3.5 inch frame and the bay device together

And this is how it looks

Here it is mounted

I loaded about a hundred photos of Mopar/Dodge and set the screensaver to play them

And I remembered that my brother-in-law watches TV and movies on his aging laptop, so I removed
one of the DVD drives and added a Blu-Ray ROM. The Radeon HD 4830 has a DVI to HDMI adapter so with the use of a quality monitor
he can watch the latest and greatest in Hi-Def

I've thought about this for a while and decided to start signing my mods. They are, in fact an art
form, so it makes sense to sign them.
This is on the inside left panel

I want to mount the power supply

But need for the screws to be flat black too

I'll be installing Vista Ultimate on the hard drive soon

I've put in most of the components so far

Here's a look with the panel on, minus the video card

While the silicon dries I installed Vista Ultimate

I got the Logitech S520 mostly because of the gray bar along the bottom that I will be painting
orange

Krylon calls this color Pumpkin Orange

The bar along the bottom does not come off, so I taped it off and painted it in place

And the mouse too. Fortunately the mouse does come apart

So far, so good
