Time to get cracking on the details
I cut out the side stripe by hand

And stuck the cutout on the panel

Then I painted it Flat Black

I bought the "440" as a decal, because I'm horrible with painting on numbers/lettering

Then peeled off the backer

I purposely painted the stripe to go to the front

I'm sorry if it's not perfect. I did it all by hand with no rulers or guides

I cut out the acrylic window

And added it to the case

I got my Asus Radeon HD4830
As you can see it's about the longest box I've seen for a card of any kind

Here's the card. It's next to a CD case for size comparison

I do like that it comes shipped with caps on the outputs and the SLI

I tested the card with GPU-Z in my Windows 7 system

The hood scoop arrived from Hong Kong, but it's too shiny

So i took some sand paper to it

And flat black paint just as I used on the side stripe

After about 5 coats. . .

Next is the prep for the exhaust fan

After my dremel, this drill is the absolute best purchase I have ever made.

It not only makes a perfect hole, but it does it in a few seconds

I just have to clean it up

Then add a grill. A fan will come later

And the scoop is on!
