I then drilled holes to connect the pieces around the edge

As you can see it looks great without the glass!

I then finished the bottom. I used two square rods to lift the case up off the base.

And it looks even better with the glass.

I'll be taking care of the top soon.

I finally got the new heatsink too.

Once I got the motherboard in, I slid in the CD drive, I added mesh and an intake fan

The last thing I had to do was cover the surrounding area of the CD drive.

And now it's done.

2011 UPDATE

Since I've had this mod hidden away in my basement anyway, I decided to bring it out for a quick resurrection and then to display it at the Micro Center where I work

I'm using a Zotac motherboard with an Intel Atom Dual Core and 2 gigs of RAM

I won't actually need a DVD drive, so I removed it and used a really sweet grill and intake fan instead

And that's all
