In just a few hours I used two mixing bowls and a 12 inch pizza pan with the following:

I was walking through a chain store when I saw these stainless steel mixing bowls and noticed that two of
them would make a great UFO. I placed them together and realized that if I used my mini itx I would need something in
the middle to mount it to. A 12 inch pizza pan was perfect. My total was about $12.00.

When I got home I grabbed some extra drawer handle pulls for the feet because I knew I'd have to find a
way to elevate the UFO to ventilate the bottom.

I decided that a colored rim would help hide where the two bowls met and set off the angle real well.

First cut I made was in the pizza pan. I wanted the PSU to be under the mini itx and this gave me
the space I needed to bring the power cables to the top.

Then I checked to see if the motherboard would still fit. Yes!

Next up was to cut a hole for the power cable to connect to the PSU.

After that I set the pizza pan with the motherboard on top and screwed down the pan. Otherwise the
pan would move around too much.

A perfect fit.

The cabinet pulls were the perfect feet.

Now to glue down the EL wire.

Yuck. The wiring...

A few minutes later and the problem fades away.

A new grill on top to complete the look.

Lastly, I made all the proper connections.

And the finished product. I love my mini itx...
